展示内容 About

This exhibition features novels by Japanese-born British author, Kazuo Ishiguro. The author was awarded the Novel Prize in Literature and the Man Booker Prize for Fiction, whose works have been translated in many countries. Throughout his works, Ishiguro expresses people's regrets and sorrows. Readers feel sorry for his telling stories, and feel refreshed after reading.

日本(にほん)で 生(う)まれた 英国(えいこく)の 作家(さっか)、カズオ・イシグロ(かずお・いしぐろ)の 小説(しょうせつ)を 紹介(しょうかい)します。ブッカー賞(ぶっかーしょう)や ノーベル文学賞(のーべるぶんがくしょう)を もらっており、たくさんの 国(くに)で 作品(さくひん)が 翻訳(ほんやく)されて います。物語(ものがたり)を 通(とお)して 人(ひと)の 後悔(こうかい)や 悲(かな)しみを 表(あらわ)して います。 切(せつ)ない けれど、読(よ)んだ 後(あと)は 心(こころ)が 洗(あら)われる ような 気持(きも)ちに なります。
